Panther Martin has a long and storied history. For 66 years Panther Martin lures have been consistently catching fish. Since 1958, over 126,000,000 Panther Martin lures have been sold in this country, and more Panther Martins in Europe, Asia and elsewhere.

Growing from a small startup in 1958 with only 3 color and body styles, Panther Martin lures have grown in popularity year after year in the United States and throughout the world. Panther Martin lures are particularly well-known for their effectiveness in catching trout, but in fact, Panther Martin's have proven to catch a wide variety of freshwater gamefish. More recently, Panther Martin lures have gained a well-deserved reputation for catching certain species of saltwater fish.

Today, Panther Martin is known as one of the world's best spinning lures. It is the original inline spinner. Its original unique design features a Convex/Concave blade mounted directly on the wire shaft going directly through the blade and body directly to the hook. This original in-line design was first introduced in America in 1958.

Panther Martin is known particularly for catching trout, but it is also proven through the years to be truly effective for catching salmon, steelhead, bass, pike, pickerel, muskie, crappie, panfish and many other species.

At the Big Rock Sports Show, which hosted over 1,000 fishing tackle dealers in Nashville, Tennessee in January, 2023, Panther Martin In-Line Swivels were voted by the 1,000 plus dealers attending that show as The Best NEW Fresh Water Lure at the Big Rock Sports Show.
