I was fishing in Michigan during the fall salmon run. At a deep, slow pool I hooked into this 27.5 inch, 6.7 lb coho salmon. After a difficult fight, this trophy finally ended up in the net. Easily the largest salmon I have ever caught.

I caught this 14"-plus beauty along with four others, all on the same lure, casting from shore at a small lake along the front range in northern Colorado. My light/fast action rod and the #6 spinner were a perfect match for casting in windy conditions.
